Claims about climate justice are global and intergenerational in character. This widened focus of questions about justice does not only challenge the classical theory of justice which is bound domestically and in time, but also the ideal of democracy. This research deals with how to link claims about climate justice with the understanding of legitimacy framed within the classical normative ideal of democratic institutions.
